At this moment a financial adoption programme has been set up at WHC. This means that every child can be financially adopted for Euro 50,- (about USD 62,50) per month. This amount covers many of the costs for the orphanage, like school tuition fee, food, rent, electricity, salaries of the Cambodian staff, etc.. The foster parents will receive a personal update of their foster child every month. They will also be able to get into contact with their foster child by sending them an e-mail or a letter by post. The children will send a personal message to their foster quarterly. In this way, we try to let the foster parents be very involved with the children.

Next to regular monthly financial support, we also welcome one-off grants. These we can use for unforeseen circumstances, like when a child needs sudden medical care or when new school uniforms need to be bought. The money is therefore always needed.

The children of WHC go to a public school 6 half days a week. The other half days they are being taught Khmer and English at the orphanage . In order to provide these lessons and for doing other activities with the children we need volunteers.
